About the Author

Hi. My name is Jen and I love beer. I’ve loved beer all of my life – that’s no exaggeration. One of my fondest childhood memories is enjoying a cold one with my Dad. It was just the foam, but what did I know? I loved it. Partly because it was something that only he and I shared and also because I really liked beer. They say beer is an acquired taste. I may have gotten a head start on most!

Over the years, my love for and appreciation of beer has continued to grow. In 2011, I decided to pursue my passion and launched The Atlanta Beer Boutique as a beer blog. Since that time, it’s evolved into a private events company and will eventually open as a brick and mortar retail location. While working on opening up shop, ABB hosts craft beer educational classes, pairing parties, private tastings and more. To further my knowledge, I am currently studying to become a Certified Cicerone, an expert in the craft beer world.
